Why We Built This

We wanted to create something different — a clean, modern platform powered by the Swiss Ephemeris (the same engine used by professional astronomers) with the Lahiri ayanamsa for authentic sidereal Vedic calculations.

Our Approach

Every calculation on RashiSetu uses the Swiss Ephemeris library with Lahiri ayanamsa — the standard for Vedic astrology in India. Our planetary positions are accurate to within 1 arc-second for modern dates. We cross-validate our results against established references like Drik Panchang and AstroSage.

All tools are completely free. No account required. No hidden charges. We believe astrological knowledge should be open and accessible to everyone.
